     Welcome to Cadenza! A game of opportunity, death, and music! Based on a real story of loss: Play as Lili, a mother, wife, and someone trying to understand her surroundings. Help her come to terms with it all and decide what must come next… 

     This game has 2 main inspirations.

1. The story of Lili Boulanger, a composer who died young. She was the first female winner of the Grand Prix de Rome competition prize. Our sound designer, Alana Buckenmyer, Weaver, took much inspiration from her.
2. One of the artist and writers, Lee, lost his mother a few years ago.  She was a music teacher, loved by many. In memory of her, we made this game.

A note from Lee:

This game is dedicated to my mother, who we based the game after in concept. She was a loved mother, wife, and teacher. I hope this brings solace to people who have lost someone before.
